3 lb ROSIE® Organic Whole Chicken Legs
  Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  Olive oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted in a skillet over medium heat until lightly browned
  Leaves from 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
  Teriyaki Sauce
1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1 cup Mirin
1 cup Sake
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tsp Sesame oil
  2-inch piece fresh ginger, smashed with the side of a large knife


1 Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken legs with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil to prevent the meat from sticking. Place a large sauté pan over medium-high heat and add 1/3 cup of olive oil. Once the pan is hot but not smoking, add the chicken and sear on all sides, 3-4 minutes or until evenly browned.
2 Once browned, remove the chicken from the pan and set aside for later. Meanwhile, add the teriyaki ingredients to same pan used to sear the chicken. Simmer over low heat and reduce until slightly thickened. Once the sauce is thickened, add the chicken back into the pan. Place pan into oven and bake for 30 minutes. Once the chicken is cooked, transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with the sesame seeds and cilantro. Serve hot.
